Hm, dunno if anyone mentioned this, (been away and I don't want to go sorting through old posts right now) but how about we all share our own Ikarishipping confessions to celebrate the day?

I have a couple. One is that I cannot, no matter what, imagine Paul and Dawn getting together at any point in the show or for a while after. To me, they're far too preoccupied and immature yet. This might be the reason for my second confession:

Ikarishipping isn't my OTP for Paul and Dawn. I think they both have better choices for suitors, but then this might not be a surprise if one followed me around Serebii. But whatevs.

So how about y'all?

I started shipping Ikari because I hated both Paul and Dawn.
It got them out of everyone else's way. xD *shot by group* I don't hate them now. I still don't like how Paul treats Ash and Dawn still gets on my nerves, but I like them a lot more when they're near each other. xDDD

H: Let's see... I have to admit that we started watching Pokemon right after we saw Suwamoto's IkariShipping Monochroact PV last year (and a few days after IkariShipping Day too! Q^Q).
I: Yeah, we haven't watched Pokemon since elementary... ^^;;;;
H: That's when Ichi and I started shipping Shinji and Hikari together. xDDD
I: Hana and I are STILL very grateful to Suwamoto for getting us into IkariShipping.
