Is this manga not part of the Pokemon Special seires? So far from what I read in DP, it is not part of the Special series. Does that mean the special will end after Emerald is finished or will they create another DP story? So far in Pokemon Special, the storyline is up to Pokemon Emerald and I am just assuming that it will continue on to the next generation as it has done for the last thirty or so volumes. But since DP now has its own manga, will they take the time to create another DP story? I'm just alittle confused, so if someone can tell me that they will or will not, please do. I really hope that The Special will continue and it will somehow include the pevious pokedex holders like the last generations.

There's a DP Pokespecial and a seperate, non-special series called DP Adventures. DPA is awesome, and though I haven't looked at DP special it seems pretty cool (funny!) too, so I'd take time to check them both out. I think I've heard that the same guy who wrote the Emerald spin-off manga wrote DPA, just as a side note.

Yeah seriously. Just because they have "Adventure" in the English titles doesn't mean they're related. Take a look at the content, the design, and of course the CHARACTER NAMES. You won't find a main named Hareta in Special because Hareta isn't a game name.
Not to mention there IS Special DPP. It's been going for some time. Cyrus is about nine feet tall and his hands are the size of a VCR. It's all kinds of creepy.

I did say that the DP series was not related to the special series, mind you. And by Special series, i meant the 30+ volumes series that started with red and continued all the way to emerald. I have read both stories and I do see the differences. In my opinion, they are completely different in almost all aspects, but it covers the sinnoh generation well which is why another manga is not neccessary. However, I do want to see the Special version of the sinnoh generation, which is why I'm asking the question.
I am asking if there would be another spin-off of the sinnoh generation, meaning another manga for the same story.
BTW, on serebii.net, they posted vol. 30 of the special with the DP series as the picture. And in the chapter listing, the story IS the DP series. Is this a mistake?

Serebii has made you think the only Pokémon manga you should give a damn about is Pokémon Special.
Every Pokémon manga is important. Pokémon DP isn't supposed to "take over" for Special. It's it's own story with it's own characters and plot.
Pokémon Special Volume 30 just came out yesterday, that is what Serebii posted.
I suggest you take a look at this article and see how many OTHER Pokémon manga there are.

Spin-off? That would imply that Special is the one true manga and that any other Manga that does not link to that story is merely an off-shoot of the original one
