Alright this time it's serious, the last few times were just practice. This time, Liko is definitely releasing Floragato.

You know the fact that Liko’s Florgato didn’t use Scratch in the battle against Anne’s Dewott makes think that the move might have been or planned to be replaced.
So I think we could see it use a new move or two here. So maybe it could wind up showing off knowing/learning Acrobatics or Aerial Ace here.

So the summary mentions Liko's "distress" and the previous episode showed her nervousness about this whole thing but she pulled back and put on brave face. I wonder if there's a possibility she may lose and circle back for a rematch. That way Kaede gets another episode she can maybe make it a 2 vs. 2 rematch? It is suppose to be a training arc. so not everything should go according to plan. Something similar to Hikari's little arc. of getting her confidence back or Corni mastering Mega Evolution would be peak.
Though Amethio didn't get seen doing any training for Terastal so maybe it just isn't a hard gimmick to master?

The thing is, it's specifically about Terastal training. So a 2v2 doesn't quite fit, because you can only Tera once.

I know that. I still want it to happen. Surely they can use their secondaries to Tera at some point through this program or simply do 2 vs. 2 because it's just well...fun? They lose out on nothing by doing so either. They all literally have two Pokémon a piece at this point.
Friede really hit the jackpot getting a flying Pikachu with Volt Tackle and a non-vanilla Dark Tera typed Lizardon. Need a backstory on that lizard.

There's still a chance that there second assigned gym leader will prob be with there second pokemon, so we can see the Fairy, Psychic and Electric Tera Types. The more I think about it, they can also play with their tera types as well.

Depending on what they do with the E4 they might skip larry, to avoid doing him twice.

In the opening we see both Staraptor and Flamigo. In the games, Staraptor is his gym ace and Flamigo is his elite four ace. He's the only one we see with two Pokemon.
But I'm also curious as to why Katy, Larry and Brassius have there aces from the games but all the other gym leaders they swapped them up. Maybe just to show Paldea representation?

That girl sure became a losing streak magnet when she got her best weapon, huh. Basically a blond Iris.

Will see in a couple episodes if they are swapping out aces but IMO their probably just showcasing Paldea Pokémon.

While you may only be able to Terrastalize once per battle, knowing when to do it could also be a part of mastering it especially since such a thing can change the entire flow of battle. So I could see the rematches with the gym leaders being more than just a 1 v 1 for that very reason.
